Conoce a tu profesora, la Señora Forero

I would like to introduce myself and let you know a little bit about myself. I am Mrs. Forero (Señora Forero), and I teach Spanish II, III and IB Spanish IV SL. I was born and raised in Colombia, South America, and I later moved to the United States when I married. My husband is also Colombian, and we have two daughters, both of whom attended Portage Central High School and Michigan State University.

Many roads have brought me to this point in my life. I have been teaching Spanish for more than twenty years; few of this time was spent in private schools along with a Four years at the college level. Fourtenn years ago, I completed my Master’s Degree in Spanish with an emphasis on linguistics and Spanish literature and culture. I have spent the last seven school years teaching Spanish at the high school after seven at the three middle schools in Portage. I have been involved with the Portage High School District as a mom and now as part of the faculty here. I want to make this experience the best for your child as well as for me as a teacher.

Me gusta viajar y visitar a mi familia. Mi esposo y yo fuimos en el verano del 2014 a visitar a nuestra hija en Houston.

Me encanta navegar y disfrutar de un día de sol.
El año pasado viaje a Perú y visité Machu Picchu. (2014)

Este verano viajé con mi hija a Londres, Barcelona, Roma, Florencia y Venecia.
